WASHINGTON – The General Services Administration (GSA) awarded service-disabled veteran owned small business, Interactive Government Holdings (IGH), with an 8(a) STARS III Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The 8(a) STARS III GWAC provides federal agencies access to customized IT services from exceptionally qualified 8(a) small-business partners. STARS III GWAC, which has a ceiling of $50 billion, has a five-year base with a three-year option.
IGH is a prime contractor serving defense and civilian federal agencies with professional solutions in competencies like program management, IT products, data analytics and logistics and assets tracking. The STARS III award will allow IGH to expand its technology solutions and offerings to the federal government. In turn, federal agencies will save time and taxpayer money by utilizing services through the STARS III contact.
“We did well managing several modernization contracts through our joint venture on STARS II,” said IGH Chief Executive Officer Michael Sanders. “We felt we would be well positioned to Prime STARS III, which will allow us to continue to develop our secure IT capabilities, while continuing to serve our current portfolio of work. We are known for superior program management in the veterans outreach and transition space, but are applying lessons learned with new customers and markets.”
“We are eager to begin partnering directly with government agencies through the 8(a) STARS III contract,” said Laura Price, Chief Financial Officer of IGH. “Government acquisition partners have regularly lauded our performance metrics and note the ease of doing business with IGH. We look forward to building on that reputation through the 8(a) STARS III contract.”
In 2020 and 2021, IGH received the Platinum HIRE Vets Medallion Award from the U.S. Department of Labor for its high veteran hiring rate. Earlier this year, IGH achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system.
Interactive Government Holdings, Inc. (IGH) is a Small Business Administration-certified 8(a) and Center for Verification and Evaluation-verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Springfield, VA.
