Tom Barnes is joining the IGH Team as EVP of Operations and Business Development where he will manage all aspects of our operational contract delivery, as well as the development and implementation of business capture and growth strategies across our portfolios. Tom’s management of IGH teams, deliverables and client relationships will ensure we’re achieving the highest levels of mission focused professional services and client satisfaction which positions us for sustained growth in competitive markets.
Tom comes to IGH from Booz Allen Hamilton where he led teams and projects delivering solutions to DoD clients across a wide variety of organizations and missions including private-public partnerships, military transition, interagency liaising, international security cooperation, foreign military sales, and defense training programs. Most recently he served as a Business Operations Lead on a leadership team overseeing a defense portfolio of over 1000 employees, $500M in annual revenue and significant year over year growth.
Tom is a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve and Washington DC Metropolitan Police Department. He studied Criminal Justice and Political Science at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and resides in Alexandria, VA with his growing family and Bahamian Potcake Puppy, Finn. An avid tennis player and sailor, Tom is a contributing member of the U.S. Tennis Association, Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.
