Interactive Government Holdings is ready to take its information technology offerings to the next level with its hiring of IT Program Manager Renee Parks.
Renee brings over 30 years in the IT field to our team, including 10 years of Program Management and more than 25 years of Project Management experience. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
In the private sector, Renee has supported everything from Software Development programs to Infrastructure Deployment and Operations and Maintenance programs. She has also worked on several large government contracts, and it was one of those contracts that drew Renee to join IGH.
“I worked with CEO Michael Sanders and his team on a previous contract and appreciate how they value their staff and what they bring to the table. I love the mission of the company too,” said Renee.
Renee’s experience has prepared her for both overcoming challenges and embracing opportunities at IGH.
“I am a problem solver with many years of experience building and maintaining client relationships, managing contractual obligations as well as leading teams on successful programs and projects in dynamic, fast-paced and highly political climates. These are the skills I hope to help take IGH to the next level of growth with!”
Renee will be based out of our Springfield, Virginia headquarters, but also work remotely from Atlanta, where she lives with her husband and son. Renee grew up as an Army brat, living all over the country and overseas in Germany, but she is well connected with the nation’s capital.
“I consider the D.C. area my hometown as that’s where my father retired when I was in high school and where we put down roots.”
Renee isn’t all work and no play. She shared, “When I’m not paddle boarding on Georgia lakes or other amazing destinations around the country, I support my son’s cross country team as Booster Club President and enjoy watching my husband’s band.”
We are glad to have Renee as our new IT Program Manager.
“Day 1, I reported to headquarters and could not have come into a more welcoming environment…I was able to hit the ground running!”
