IGH Salutes Andre Wing
At IGH, veterans make up a large number of our workforce. In 2019, 35 percent of our new hires were veterans and we were just recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor with the Platinum-level, 2020 HIRE Vets Medallion Award.

Our “IGH Salutes” series introduces you to veteran employees who honorably served their nation and continue to do so through the contracts IGH has at the state and federal level.

Andre Wing, a Vermont native, has been IGH’s Program Manager for the Vermont Veterans Outreach Program at the Vermont National Guard for three years.

A Newport, Vermont native, Andre served in the U.S. Army for 24 years. He served in various positions and military occupations to include combat engineer, logistics, operations and First Sergeant. Today, he continues to support the military community in his role with the Vermont Veterans Outreach Program.

“My service has prepared me to lead a team of professionals who support veterans and their families with transitioning from military to civilian life, peer to peer support and advocacy,” Wing said.

Andre is a lifetime member of the VFW. He enjoys camping and his four beautiful granddaughters.

Thank you, Andre, for serving your nation in uniform and today for supporting our nation’s veterans!
