Johnny Dwiggins

Johnny H. Dwiggins brings a passion for service to his role of Executive Vice President of Operations and Quality for Interactive Government Holdings. Johnny is a servant leader at IGH by setting an example of professionalism and integrity as he manages both Department of Defense and civilian contracts and leads IGH to mission-focused hiring decisions.

Johnny came to IGH in 2015 following retirement from a career at RJR Packaging, Inc. in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. At RJR Packaging, he was Manager, Customer/Production Services. Johnny was responsible for developing and implementing near-term and long-term strategies and goals for materials procurement, inventory control, production planning and scheduling, customer services and business development for flexible packaging worldwide. 

While successfully advancing in his civilian career, Johnny also served our nation as an U.S. Army Reservist. Johnny’s military experience gives him a special appreciation for veterans and service members who balance responsibilities between wearing the uniform and pursuing civilian work. Johnny has worked on various contracts with the Department of Defense to conduct strategic Employer Outreach and assisting Guardsmen, Reservists, veterans and dependents with employment. Johnny also spent 16 years as an Army Reserve Ambassador until he retired from that position in Dec. 2020.

Johnny’s care for veterans is highlighted through IGH’s recognition as a 2020 and 2021 U.S. Department of Labor Platinum HIRE Vets Medallion Award winner. Johnny plays a critical role in IGH’s high veteran hiring, promotion and retention rate. 

A native of North Carolina, Johnny and his wife, Jean, continue to reside in the Tar Heel State. They have two grandchildren and are active members of their church in Winston-Salem. Johnny spent years being involved in the Jaycees and he enjoys restoring antique tractors and gentleman farming.
